ELLAS- Latin American women artists gathering. Campinas/BR is a performing arts encounter, mainly theater and performance, created and performed by women. The gathering aims to bring together works from local artists and from artists from other regions of Brazil and Latin America in general. It will reunite theater performances, workshops, talks, and a visual arts exhibition. It will run during three days, and it will focus on performing arts and how to open a dialogue about "being a politically active woman" in the current context of South America.
The gathering will be in Campinas/SP (Brazil) November 2-4 2017. It will be an independent production, fully organized with self-resources, and with the support of the Magdalena Project - an international network of women in contemporary theater.
